Max Cornelison grew up in a central Iowa farming community where he developed a passion for agriculture.

Following his time at Iowa State University, Max worked in the grain and biofuel industry for nine years. He previously managed the grain business for three Flint Hills Resources ethanol plants.

Max learned firsthand the need for producers to manage price risk on their operations when he worked directly with them during his time in the grain industry. He then earned his Series 3 brokerage license and joined the AgMarket.Net team. Max has a true passion to help farmers make decisions which will work for their operations.

Max resides in Truro, Iowa near his wife’s family farm. Max and his wife, Alyssa, have a feeder cattle operation and are actively involved in the risk management decisions of her family’s row-crop operation. They have two kids, Leila Jean and Hazen.
