Brian Splitt
Co-Founder and Chief Strategist
Brian Splitt is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategist of AgMarket.Net®, the Farm Division of John Stewart and Associates. The Illinois native began his financial services career in 2004, developing expertise across a range of investment vehicles before becoming a registered commodity representative in 2007. Today, Brian is widely regarded as one of the most sought-after voices for technical market analysis in agricultural markets.
That discipline traces back to his service as a Marine combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Brian also served as a Marine Combat Instructor of Water Survival. The traits instilled through these services – performing under pressure, executing without emotion – serve him exceptionally well in the high-pressure environment of commodity risk management. Producers
and industry professionals alike respect his no-nonsense, structured approach to the markets. It’s a technical intellect refined over two decades.
Brian services individual and commercial clients across grains, livestock, energy and outside markets throughout the country, specializing in tailored hedging and risk management solutions. As Chief Strategist, Brian also leads the development of AgMarket.Net®’s Hedging Recommendations – an exclusive resource available to clients, offering actionable hedging guidance developed collaboratively among the team. A trusted voice in agricultural media, Brian’s analysis and commentary appear regularly on local and national broadcasts including: AgDay, U.S. Farm Report, RFD-TV, RFD Radio Network, Market Day Report, This Week in AgriBusiness, AgriTalk, Agriculture of America, Market Talk, Brownfield, the CME Group, Bloomberg, Farm Futures, Iowa AgriBusiness Radio Network and the Grain Markets and Other Stuff podcast.
