There’s a potential for rain in the forecast across the Northern Plains and Southern Plains for the remainder of this week. It’s welcoming news for most of those areas to replenish soils.
This is as the U.S. Drought Monitor still shows abnormally dry to extreme drought throughout the Western and Central Corn Belt and Wheat Belt.
