Matt Bennett is the Co-Founder and CEO of AgMarket.Net®, the Farm Division of John Stewart and Associates. The seventh-generation Central Illinois farmer and livestock producer brings the producer perspective to the table with his extensive grain and livestock marketing background. He specializes in formulating risk management strategies and customizing marketing plans specific to a producer’s operation for clients throughout the United States. A former grain elevator owner (a business he owned with his family), Matt understands the commercial side of the industry as well as the farmer’s sentiment, giving his clients a rare perspective in the industry.

What sets Matt Bennett apart is his relatable, down-to-earth presence – he brings a farmer’s perspective with a broker’s touch. A sought-after speaker, Matt has presented nationally and internationally for farmers, producers, ranchers, traders, elevators, financial institutions, ag-chem retailers, seed dealers and trade shows for more than two decades, covering grain and livestock market outlooks, supply and demand analysis and risk management tools. His speaking engagements have taken him from Commodity Classic’s early riser sessions, where he has presented for 12 consecutive years, to the USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum during 2025. Speaking is where Matt thrives, putting complex market concepts into terms which make sense for the people actually working the land.

The University of Illinois graduate has served as a grain marketing consultant with Beck’s Hybrids since 2025 and works closely with Case IH for trade shows and speaking events. Matt also created what’s now known as the AgMarket.Net® App, giving producers the ability to track basis, cost, sales and analyze pricing scenarios and potential outcomes based on your operation’s numbers.

Matt works out of the Windsor, IL office. He and his wife Tiffany are raising their family on the family’s centennial farm.
