Luke Wessels is a Series 3 licensed broker who specializes in working with producers to manage risk. He works out of the Windsor, Illinois office.

The Illinois native attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Consumer Economics with a concentration in Agribusiness Markets & Management. It was during college that Wessels found a passion for commodity markets, which led him to pursue a career in brokerage and consulting.

Wessels also farms with his grandfather and uncles outside of Knoxville, Illinois, acting as the fifth generation of the family farm. That background sets him apart: along with a solid knowledge of futures and options, he brings firsthand insight into what growers are up against, since he’s managing his own bushels right alongside them.
