Betsy Jibben

Media Director

Betsy Jibben is the media director for AgMarket Consulting (which works closely with AgMarket.Net). She helps with marketing, events and does some market reporting from time-to-time.

Betsy joined the company with roughly a decade of reporting experience. She spent nearly seven years with Farm Journal as a national reporter for the TV shows “AgDay” and “U.S. Farm Report” where she traveled across the country and reported on different agricultural topics. She’s been coast-to-coast reporting from Coachella Valley to Capitol Hill – to farm fields in the Midwest.

Betsy is a South Dakota farm kid who grew up on a cow-calf operation and row-crop farm. Betsy moved back to South Dakota with her husband and daughter during 2022 after living in Indiana for several years. She graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from South Dakota State University. Go Jacks!

Betsy says she cherishes the time spent with farmers – including her dad- scouting crops, checking on cattle and having good conversations in the pickup.
